Re: An update from Dave Mustaine

Mmm, lots of news. First of all, it's too bad that nothing could be worked out with the R.I.P. line-up. I have been a megadeth fan since the early years, but I believe they hit their peak with Marty, and I will always consider him the best lead player they had.

The remix news is cool. I can't wait for R.I.P to be remixed. It will turn already kick-ass record into an absolute masterpiece.

What's this about a Metallica movie. Dave's comments didn't seem to make much sense.

He fell asleep on his arm?!?!? I don't know whether to laugh or what. That is kinda funny, but sucks soooo bad at the same time. It's kinda embarassing too.

He says the new record is "frikken heavy". Well lets just hope that he means R.I.P heavy, and not Criptic Writings heavy.

So much for Ron's resolution for the new year.

Mh,you know what I think? That all this story about his hand was just a strategy to switch to ESP.Maybe just like the stolen (?) guitars of Alexi Laiho.I really Dave, but imo there is something wrong about his hand and selling all his old guitars...

Actually, excluding Mustaine himself, there were a total of 6 "side" axemen in Megadeth over the years. Greg Handevidt (Kublai Khan) was the first, but he wasn't on any recordings & didn't play live.
