I love this song , this is from the Gigantour DVD and I cant count how many times I have watched this. They destory on this , damn I wish there were more then just two songs on the dvd.
They shoulda deleted the Life in agony and Bobaflex tracks and put more Nevermore in.

The Dream Theater and Fear Factory songs are tight sounding on the dvd aswell. You also get the added bonus of Christian Old Wolber's CS Jackson 7 strings to look at.

"slappy, slappy" bill sings, happily, as he dick slaps random people on the streets of Cleveland.

I like the KSE guys, great fun in concert. They are tight too. But seriously, this is Loomis. 2 Adams + a Joel still don't add up to a Jeff.

That just why I haven't bought it yet. If I can pick it up dirt cheap somewhere I will. And why did they make it 2 discs? 85 minute feature and a 50 minute doco? Like that couldn't fit on one DVD
          Hail yesterday

That youtube recording is VERY nice to Jeff's guitar tone in that video. On the DVD I borrowed his rhythm tone sounded terrible. I will say that Steve's sounded pretty good though. One of the better Warrel Dane performances too.

Symphony X section is decent, but the tone is really thin / harsh (Romeo is using a Vetta too) and the performance is really cheesy.

Dream Theater section was decent but those songs on there are terrible, no wonder I haven't bothered listening to them for over 4 years, their new songs are very, very yuck! Good tone from Petrucci though.

Megadeth section is okay, kinda lame song choices though.

Fear Factory, Life Of Agony, Bobaflex sections were all skipped after about 2 minutes into the performances.

That's the problem with that Gigantour DVD... you only get something like two songs from each band. That is lame.

if jeff is really as good as you guys say he is, the drums just completely ruined it

well half..you can't have NM without Jeff..but they evolved into Nevermore for certain..

Dave Mustain wanted Jeff in Megadeth before Marty Joined but was way too you looking..he didn't want a "kid" stealing his thunder..this is true..heard it from the source..Jeff was also a Vicious Rumors canidate..

I have Jeff's demos and shit at 16..but he looked younger..

"Sanctuary is Nevermore" is a slogan that the band used when Nevermore played their first few gigs.

yea, i agree...when i saw Nevermore Jeff's tone was horrenous (well rhythm tone). very sharp and ear piercing and REALLY scooped in the low-mid area. very thin. i thought it might have been the PA, but when i checked out some other stuff it was the same tone. awesome player, seems like a really great guy...just not my type of tone! LOL however the tone on the discs is really great, and im not a Recto guy at all. but i would be happy with that tone!

after seeing Jeff and checking some more of his stuff out, it inspired me to learn more about diminished stuff and all that. never really thought of doing it before, but it sounds awesome. both him and Smyth are great players! i saw them with Broderick though, and hes just as amazing!
