    Man, this is a tough one!

    OK, here are some dream bands:

    SRV Guitar and Vocals;
    John Entwhistle on Bass;
    John Bonham on drums.

    That would be a serious power trio right there.

    What about:

    Jimi Hendrix;
    Marvin Gay;
    Jaco Pastorious;
    John Bonham.

    That could be pretty cool. Talk about some diversity.

    You could go on and on and on....

    Mike
    Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

      Just put those two together somehow.

        I'd do a barber shop quartet with:

        Elvis
        Layne Staley
        Chuck Schuldiner
        Jim Morrison

          I would replace Jaco with James Jamerson and then we would have some serious all-star groove supergroup.

                Shawn Lane
                Phil Lynott
                Keith Moon

                I think they'd make an interesting mix.

                    Someone just uploaded a ton of great Shawn Lane vids on Youtube. I spent a good part of the afternoon yesterday watching, and it was amazing and also very very sad how much of the late-'90s stuff is from small bars. In some, there are guys shooting pool right behind him & ignoring the music.

                      No Crosby fans? Wow.
