On the Selco products pic - is the string plate (the v-shaped thing) touching the pickguard, or is that just the angle?

Ironic... I sent them an e-mail about 2 months ago bitching them out about their article on how there where "no real guitar heros in the 90's". Cursed them up and down about not including Chuck Shuldiner in their calender too.

I'd almost like to think this was my responcibility, haha :P

I'm very interested in the "Story" because I always thought it would be cool for everyone to know about Chucks early life and how the Godfather of "Death Metal" became...I had the privilege of communicating with Jane for a while when I sent her the audio interview I did with Chuck just before he was diagnosed...and she told me some stuff that I though was very interesting in the grand scheme of things...I hope it something about that.

        Chuck wasn't Jane’s first loss...

I think it touches in both, but shows up a little strange in some pics. The light catching it makes it look like there may be a space. Here's a good shot (huge pic) from the guy's gallery:

I'm tired of hearing about Kurt Cobain every 10 seconds...

If its true tribute though they should at least get some mention. Even if Guitar world tries to "focus" on the more of the metal crowd.

they "must"? Why didn't you mention Tommy Bolin? Jeff Buckley, Brian Jones, Jerry Garcia, Robbin Crosby, Michael Hedges? I could go on.

If it's to be a true tribute, shouldn't all of these guys and more be mentioned? Of course, the magazine would end up 500 pages long if each "fallen hero" was to be appropriately commemorated, or should the go they just make a list of dead guitarists?
