you can get really fine distorted tones out of the line 6 flextone series amps. I've had one for a few years now. the only place I find it really lacking is in Live performance situations. the tone has a strange warbly noise accompanied by it when you crank the amp past about 12 o'clock on the master volume.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Aha.. Well, there you go... I was happy with it until I joined a band and started having practices a couple times a week. It was great for clean tones and it was good when kept at low volumes.

thats why you dont get their combos, get their heads or preamps i have a POD Pro and i love it. . .
