Is Van Halen Getting back together?

I heard about two months ago on the radio here in Chicago that Sammy has reunited with Eddie and Alex, and at the time no word from Michael. A new album is in the works and a tour too follow. At least thats what I heard back then. Now appearently Michael has signed on and the tour first then an album. But then anything is poosable. I know Eddie has a crap load of songs ready to go so who knows he could just do it on his own label first then an Officail WB release later.
Either way I can't wait. No matter the price Im there.

I don't really care too much about them any more, but I'm interested to see what happens. If they can do something along the lines of F.U.C.K. or Balance, maybe even heavier, it will be pretty cool! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Being a Van Halen fan has become a tough job. How many years has it been since they released VH3?

I hope this happens. I'm not personally a big fan of the post-DLR stuff, but if these guys tour & put out something that sells well & brings great musicianship back into the limelight, it will be a breath of fresh air & I will support the hell out of it with my $$. I'm not a big fan of the post DLR era Van Halen either, but I think the solo for "Right Now" is one of Eddie's greatest.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You're probably right, but I think the tour would fill sheds across the country
with 35-50 year olds looking to relive their wasted youth one more time. Even if you're not a big VH band, they made their name as the greatest party band of their time, and people will still go to the party - kind of like a high school reunion, only fun!

I mean SHEESH! If KISS can do it, why not Van Halen?
