VH without DLR is lame. I know he cant sing anymore , but I saw some recent Sammy stuff on TV from the last tour and he cant either! Old Eddie needs to go a new direction or hang it up.

I e mailed VH years ago and advised Jorne Lande on vocals ...anyone else at this time would truly suck!

Van Halen is dead to me . EVH is the reason why I play guitar today , but what once was a cool lookin' punk with a chip on his should , smirkin 'cause he know's he's the shit is now a decrepit chain smokin' , alcholic dumbfuck that doesn't have control of his life , his family or his music...or his band

I heard him do some things here and there and they were pathetic and horrible

I was in a VAN HALEN tribute band for two years that did him justice .....something he couldn't do himself , sad to say.

I can now say I smoke him ...but he did help me get here.

They don't need the world, just a few million ticketbuyers. If you don't think a Van Halen tour of whatever lineup other than with Gary Gibrone would sell those numbers, well I'd bet you're mistaken.

Now if Ed embarrassed himself on the tour
that would be a real shame for their legacy, but again, I'm sure that if people will go see the KISS farewell tour
for the 10th time, they'll shell out for VH at least once. Of course they won't get substitutes masquerading in the lead guitar and drum slots! If you want that,
go see the DLR Band and at least there you get Roth, with whoever just graduated from the Atomic Punks this year! [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
