I also have to say Dream Theater's Train of Thought. That might be the first cd I wear out by playing it all the time. Honorable mention to Black Label Society's Blessed Hellride and 1919 Eternal.

not really a very specific order. But those are my favorites these days. Children of Bodom deserve to be up in there too...with both Follow the REaper and HCDR, I just don't know who they'd replace...

I wouldn't pick it for a best of list myself, but it is a HELL of a lot better than Brave New World. After a couple listens I don't mind it at all. Agreed on Gers
