Yeah, Frank Hannon is da man and I'm a big Tesla fan. I really dig Jeff Keith's raspy voice and their tunes have that nice rock n' roll vibe to 'em. I was just checking out "Love Song" and "Little Suzi" on youtube the other day.

I found their guitar playing rather stale. But that's just my 2 cents...
Holy Crystal Methanphetamine Batman, you're higher than a fucking kite.

      Stale???

You my good man need to dust off Mechanical Resonance and give it a GOOD listen. Hannon and Skeoch were/are so under rated that it's not funny.

        Razor,
Don't see it. Sorry. Never been a Telsa fan. Never heard anything that was mindblowing. Sure, they have the whole blues thing going, that's cool. Just not for me. I've heard it done much better, and I'd rather listen to that...

Never could stand the singer. His voice made me want to clear my throat. Songs were OK, nothing special. I saw them at the last Iowa Jam here in 1990. Nothing great...

Sorry that I have a different take than most here. But I'm cool with that...

Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham... Now THERE are some under rated guitarists...
        I'm angry because you're stupid

Mechnical Resonance is an aural snapshot of my first year at college. Broke up with a girl to "We're No Good Together".

Everytime I play that CD, I can smell the incense I used to burn back then.

              Jesus. Great memories.
Good Lord! The rod up that man's butt must have a rod up its butt!

Man, they were one of my faves way back when...until we went to see them at Cal Expo in Sacramento. They chose this show to film the "Love Will Find a Way" video. So, we're stoked - how cool is that?

Well, after opening with a couple songs off the 1st album, they announce that they're going to start filming - the hometown crowd goes wild!

After 10 or so takes...of the same song...followed by a "Thank you - good night!", I think the Sacramento Police were thankful that there wasn't a riot!

Not too many happy fans by the end of that thing, myself one of them
Crime doesn't pay. Neither does lutherie...

                        Claven,
I didn't go to see anybody. I went to that Jam because I knew it was going to be the last one. That's really the only reason. The Bulletboys were about the only band I would have said that I thought was OK at the time. I did like their ST album. Van Halen rip off but it was listenable. I did like Reb too but no one could say that at the time. Not with Kip dancing around like that...

I remember I was there with a bunch of friends. Poison is set to come out. I think they opened with "Talk Dirty To Me". CC came out and hit the wrong note right out of the gate. We all looked at each other and decided it really gets no better so we split. Poison sounded HORRIBLE on the way to the car...

Someone really needs to bring the Iowa Jam back...
