I saw him live a years back in bradford UK supporting dragonforce.
All i can really remember is him doing Eruption which was pretty cool. Unfortunately it was one of those gigs that was going well overrun so everyone just wanted him to get off so we could finally see the headline, ashame really cos the guy cud play

I recall the name, but I guess he just couldn't be that "next big thing" everyone was hyping him to be.

I blame the lack of record label backing. Corporate greed, yeah that's it, corporate greed

From what I've read, the guy is a mess. Heroin addict. Total mess...

Don't know if that is part of the story but that's the word...
                    I'm angry because you're stupid

Well, given that I'm a complete 80's fiend, and the fact that Adam has played/met some of my fave 80's artists (he was first choice guitarist for Guns N' Roses apparently), you can imagine how thrilled I was when I found out that we'd been booked to support him on his UK tour. I wanted to find out so much about him and his illustrious past so I couldn't wait for the opportunity to meet him (I'd heard stories of him being this really humble guy who takes the time out to chat with his fans). Unfortunately, when I did he turned out to be the most arrogant, ungrateful moron I think I've ever met.
I turned up to the venue and had only just entered inside (I still had my jacket on) when Adam, looking rather cool, strolled past me and said, "I need help carrying some of my stuff up!" I thought he could've at least said please but being the placid, just-want-to-get-along kind of guy that I am (and being a little 'too' soft) I just helped him carry his stuff up anyway. However, when I got his gear into the hall for him he just turned his back to me and started rummaging through a bag... no 'Thanks' or 'Appreciate the help'... NOTHING. He then set his stuff up then walked past me and my band (not even looking at us), pointed at the stage, and said, "Go do your sound check then" and walked off. We didn't see him for the rest of the night. He didn't come upstairs to see my band perform (or the other support band for that matter) and only surfaced when it was time for him to go on stage. He simply stayed down in the bar playing stupid 'Deal or No Deal' on the bandit machine. The rest of his band came up to watch us and even had the decency to shake our hands afterwards and tell us they though we were amazing, but no Adam Bomb in sight... I really wanted him to watch me play so I could ask him what he thought given that Adam is actually really good himself. I really thought his attitude stunk and his arrogance really didn't make him any more likable (as much as I LOVE 80's rock, I couldn't help but laugh when some guy at the back shouted, "Get off stage you 80's has been!").
I wasn't all doom and gloom though... we actually got an amazing reception form the audience who all came over in crowds and told us how much they loved our set. There was even this metal-head who had piercings all over his face who came over to me and said he though I was one of the best guitarist he'd ever seen... it was a little 'too' generous but it really did make my day (especially given that we're not a thrash metal band or anything).
