Agreed. The songwriting is excellent, as is the leading skill of Marty Friedman. Metallica's songs are a bit boring in comparison, at least after Justice.

Plus the better taste in guitars

I love both. Of course, they've both had rough periods of shit music (e.g. Metallica's last few releases, Megadeth's late 90's stuff).

Despite what these bands are doing today, Peace Sells and Master of Puppets will always be near the top of my all time fav albums list.

The raw energy of Megadeth's first two albums is a beautiful thing but Rust In Peace will remain their best album.

Metallica's best work is Master Of Puppets with Ride The Lightning being an extremely close second.

Neither band is "better" than the other but I would agree that Marty is the most talented guitarist out of all of them.
