    what kind of stuff do you want?

    he is the biggest guitarist in Asia right now and has made all kinds of music...pop, rock, jazz, classical, world music, traditional etc.
    btw. he is a good friend of EVH, Vai, Sheehan and players like that.

    He is a member of B'Z wich is the biggest band in Japan right now, only sold out concerts/tours and 80 million albums sold. Very good pop/rock. I really like 'em.

    He also has his own band Tak Matsumoto Group wich made one of the best hard rock albums lately. Great songwriting, riffs, solos. The vocals are done by Eric Martin (Mr. Big)

    As far as his solo stuff goes I can recommend you those tomorrow when I have the albums in my hands.

                Both Chris and Marty are extremely talented players but it's comes down to personal opinion/preference. I find Marty's phrasing to be too abstract to me at times while Chris's playing is very interesting and "speaks" to me more on an emotional level.

                I really dug "return to Metalopolis" and enjoy his OHM releases. But then theres "holy wars", that is such an kick ass tune and Rust in Piece is a fantastic album.

                But yeah 2 great players with their own unique styles.

                  Hearing "Holy Wars" the first time was such a kick in the ass, it's such an agressive song, it had that... OOMPH
                  R.I.P. was a great moment for thrash/speed metal.

                        I can play Metallica with finesse, I can't touch Friedman on Rest in Peace. Megadeth wins, no contest.
