I'm wondering why so many people I talk to in these Guitar forums don't like them?? Did I miss something??

I saw them live when I went to Iron Maiden a few months back and thoought they where really good. then I picked up there Cd and I can't stop listening to it. I also noticed they use 6505 amps and have killer guitar tone. Many people on these boards use 6505 or 5150 amps. they sound effin awesome on this cd.

So whats the deal??

Not bad but it seems the songs don't really have a groove to fall into. Maybe I haven't heard the right songs though.

Heard one or two of their songs on the local metal radio station (and maybe I've seen a video), but never really paid attention to them, so I guess I can't really comment.

I've heard of them, but since I don't buy every new CD that comes out and don't listen to the radio or watch MTV, I've never heard them.

Not really into that sorta thing. Alice Cooper did it already and did it best, everyone else is just a pale imitation (pun intended).

plus their pedantic guitar parts. not really my thing. some potential there, but that frontman blows and the bass player really adds to the noise level with the cookiemonster backing vocals stuff. I mean please.

Me either. But I've caught articles in guitar & metal mags about them, and have seen/heard bits and pieces on compilations or on the net.

to answer the original question, they seem like a decent band. But like plenty of decent bands out there, they just seem to be missing that......I dunno.....something......to grab my attention. I certainly don't hate them or think that they suck
