I haven't seen Megadeth live since Marty, Nick and Junior have been gone. It just never seemed worth it to me. However after seeing this last night, I will probably go see them again. Glen Drover is a phenomenal player, and pulls Marty stuff off no problem. He doesn't quite have the same feel as Marty, but it's damn close. Shawn is quite the drummer too. I was very impressed by the whole show, especially that they did so much of the older stuff of R.I.P, SFSGSW, etc..

The Drovers are great musicians. Check out their band Eidolon for some kick ass Metal

i've seen glen drover live with both megadeth and King Diamond. he is truely amazing! perfect guy for the job. and he smiles when he plays solos. i like that.Comment

The Drovers are doing the best they can in what amounts to a no-win situation. Most people are always going to have loyalty to the guys from the band's best years. The only way it's going to change is if lightning strikes and Megadeth puts out something as great as the early stuff. Probably not going to happen, but it won't be because of Glen & Shawn. Dave calls all the shots. The latest stuff is still a step in the right direction, imo.Comment

I watched that same special and found it to be a suprisingly enjoyable show to watch...I've never really been a big fan of Megadeth's live stuff but that was cool........the fact that they showed every 'Deth video (including some I'd never seen) beforehand didn't hurt either.......I'm not into hell.........I just dig the soundtrack.........
