The guy who inspired me to pick up the guitar is Chris Caffery. I am still learning a lot on how to play and don't have much of a style I am trying fit into yet, but some of the guitarists that I enjoy and would love to be able to play like are.

    Chris Caffery
    Criss Oliva
    Alex Skolnik
    Kirk Hammett
    Yngwie Malmsteen
    George Lynch
    Slash
    Angus Young
    Billy Gibons
    plus quite a lot more

I have to say Michael Weikath of Helloween inspired me to take the guitar in my hands... But my world was forever changed when I heard Yngwie Malmsteen. He continues to amaze me even though I've gone past the shred-til-yer-dead phase.

                          In The Beginning:

Ace Frehley, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford for their work on Kiss Destroyer and Kiss Alive and Toys In The Attic and Live Bootleg.

                          In The Middle:

Randy Rhoads. Still amazed when I listen to Tribute. I can remember listening to the King Biscuit Flower Hour for live Ozzy!

Thru The Dark Ages (the 90's till now):

Doug Aldrich. He has everything. Tone, Vibrato, Speed, Feel. In my mind the combination of everything you'd want in the ultimate guitar player. While everyone was avoiding guitar solos like the plague he was ripping out Bad Moon Rising and Burning Rain cd's thru the 90's, and then tore it up with Dio, and now with Whitesnake. Anyone hear the 4 new Whitesnake songs?
