Axel has done it to Guns, Ratt is laughable. Only hardcore Ratt fans even remember when they were something to brag about, and I don't know who is responsible or if all are, but now Van Halen is doing it to Van Halen. If these idiots can't get over themselves enough to jam, then I wish they would just shut the hell up, get out of the way, so I can listen to Unchained, without ever hoping to see them again.

Even if they reunite with Micael Anthony and DLR and play an hour from my house (which they won't),,,I'd be tempted not to go after the circus act I seen in 2004,,,,where Eddie could barely stand up, seemed to be playing a different song than the band every time, and only played leads by hitting the same high E and hitting that sustainer for 15 minutes. It was so bad,,,,and it was very noticable that the rest of the band were giving him dirty looks and avoiding him every time he came near one of them. I'm not convinced he could even play the way he used to anymore.....and he sure is not going to live very long if he keeps on whatever substances he seems to be on. To me,,,I just have to look at a recent picture of him, and it's enough to keep me from spending my money or time on that band anymore. Something is way wrong,,,,and when he does interviews, he says some very wacky stuff.....nothing like he used to be when he was on top of his game. I think it is insanity mixed with chemicals.

I said the pay thing as a joke-because if anything is asked of them-(Ed & Alex)- it always comes down to how much you gonna pay me?? After screwing Michael over on the 2004 tour-he took what would be min. wage so Ed and Alex could make more. Like Michael said he went ahead and did it-(not for money)-but because he said he felt that would be the last time they ever play together.

Sad to hear, you should make an appearance if you're being honored no matter where it is. Try to remember, drunk or not, he's been through cancer, hip replacement, etc. Stay sober through all of that and you're one in a few million. It's a bummer for me to hear that they won't show for this. How concrete is the report?

I get offended every time I see Eddie still smoking. He seems unfazed by cancer, and ungrateful for what he has. Proof is in his handling of these events.
He is a horrible parody of himself. Dave is most likely to arrogant and coincided to realize that he would need serious voice coaching work to be up to snuff, and well its nice that Eddie's kid wants to play with him, but hey, go start an expensive garage band. Don't send you kid in to replicate history that was made before he existed. Maybe its me, but I'm one of those people that want to hear VH like it was made and played, no renditions, no 12 min run-offs. Play the music, and be grateful for what you have, and who came to hear it.

I don't know man-My dad use to party his ass off and drink like a fish everyday, smoke a little, do a few other things but he always had his shit together-He was told by the doctors to quit drinking, smoking, oh yeah were going to have to fully redo both knees, already had major back surgery-twice, stabbed 8 times and had slices on one hand alone that required 83 stitches to close and save his thumb, served and was injured in the armed forces during Vietnam, has high blood pressure-he quit all that stuff 20 years ago and he is cool as shit, still going strong-(has retired from two jobs)- and is worth several million-so I hate hearing shit about poor eddie-"Fuck Eddie" is how I feel-he's lived a pretty charmed life-only job he has ever worked is music, has millions, live in a mansion, killer cars, guitars amps etc..nobody else is screwing his life up-But Eddie!!
