  • Icon (heavy metal from the '80's)

They were user of Charvels and Jacksons

Dan Wexler used Jackson Rhoads guitars and John Aquilino used Charvel Stars.

Icon wrote the best song of all time... I make a tribute to this song with a slideshow...

Loved Icon. Definitely one of my favorite bands from the 80's. Icon and Malice were the 2 that I thought should have gone much further. After seeing that video, I'm wondering how much more material I've been missing after having the first 2 record albums for 20 years ?

Wow, check out the 2nd video, towards the end. Charvel star with harpoon headstock. That actually works and looks quite good.

      And on the 8th day,
God kicked back with a beer,
And gave that Jackson one helluva beating!

        +1.

Add King Kobra (with the "Ready To Strike" record) and you've got 3 HIGHLY underrated bands.

Malice was awesome. Also, the partial reunion album under the name Monster. Anybody know what Mick Zane is up to these days?

I've loved "On Your Feet" since it first came out and I saw the video on MTV. I have the album and played it out back then. You Tube is so cool, any video you want. I haven't seen that in 20 years....still cool!!!

Yeah, MALICE has actually reformed and are headlining the Headbangers Open Air fest in Germany this year!! That is fuckin' great news - now all we need is a U.S. tour with someone!!

ICON rules also. I have spoken with Wexler a couple times via email. A class dude all the way.

No it isn't out of print. Maybe Right Between The Eyes and An Even More Perfect Union are really hard to find but Night Of The Crime and Icon albums are pretty easy to find on net.
