Icon and King Kobra wimped out on their follow ups.."Night of the crime" and "Thrill of a lifetime"..

speaking of 80's stuff anyone have Lemans' with the late Derik Frigo of Enuff Z Nuff fame..not bad for the time...good singer.

What about London's "non stop rock", or Black N Blue's material..all that stuff has been re-issued..I have the OOP originals that used to fetch big bucks on ebay, but I never sold them..who knew they'd re-issue this stuff.

One of my my faves of '85/'86 is Rough Cutt..I still listen to those pretty frequently..

They were amazing. Shortino has an absolutely classic voice, and the guitar playing is remarkably free of cliches considering the time. Rough Cutt and Y&T are both staying in my regular listening rotation.

Yep, I bought all the Jap imports of Y&T some years back..They re-issued those too..

but at least I had it back in the day, and now..that's what counts.

My band used to cover RC's "Take Her"..man, that was a long time ago!

That's one of my favorite "I'm trying out this amp in your store" riffs. It always raises a few eyebrows, and every now & then, you'll see a smile from someone "who REALLY knows"...

It confuses the SHIT out of the little weirdos in front of the Crate combos though - a little too unorthodox for them!

                    Absolutely..got 'em all..

                    I likes my metal cds!

I only like the two TOPT releases with Sykes on it tho..I don't know why he just didn't take all the solos..Robb Weir's sounds so lame in comparison...I think.

I still dig Loudness and TNT..but they never went away..they been puttin' stuff out all these years..

Oh..Heavy Pettin anyone?..they were like a early Def Leppard.

Heavy Pettin' - I have the movie they were featured in. It's called "An Icident at..." Somthing I can't remember. It was BAD.

I have all TNT's stuff, and a bunch of Loudness too. I just got their latest release, which was all in Japanese - interesting... Did you ever hear Sly? That was Loudness after, in-between, and before Loudness again. That's some great stuff. Black 'n' Blue - of course!

Some others -- Banshee, Lion, TT Quick, Brighton Rock, Hurricane, Heaven's Edge, Jailhouse (Rough Cutt guys), Keel, Lillian Axe, Pretty Maids -- they all kinda fit in with the bands you mentioned.

Hey Chris..Yep..check on all bands mentioned..I'm a "horder" of quality metal..so I have quite a bit, from classic to modern.

I have "too much", 5000+ cds and still goin' strong...I need more space!
