Well, it's not an april's fool in my opinion because it is true that Tom is Catholic and does believe in god...it does sound a little funny honestly and you guys know that I am Christian. But I don't think it's the end of Slayer at all, and it shouldn't be. Good luck with your side project and may it brings great Slayer songs.

Never heard that one, but I do remember Stryper going to see Testament in the early to mid '80s because they thought they were a Christian Metal band. I don't know. Chuck does some great death metal vocals at times, so maybe his voice was a little too "demonic" for them or whatever. Don't know if it's true, but I remembered reading that story somewhere.
