That being said, I don't care about half of the songs on the first 2 Ozzy's albums.
Jake should have stayed with RATT, IMO. And I can say I pretty much hate almost all of Bark at the Moon and Ultimate Sin.

I remember when Bark at the Moon, Spiders and One Up The B Side first came out. It was like he was creepy cool for Blizzard, Diary and Speak of the Devil, and then just turned into a dork trying to sell albums to grade school kids. I felt kinda betrayed... But that was soon overshadowed by Turbo coming after Defenders. lol

I could start naming songs, but it just comes down to opinion, both are great players and both wrote great music.

I thing if Randy was still alive, first his tone would have gotten better, but then again i also think he would have left ozzy not longer after and started teaching classical.

Oh, wait... there isn't one. Yeah, that's what I thought. :p

That is your opinion that most people will disagree with. Personaly the tone just got different because of advances in amps. I dont think he sold evolved.

Jake E. Lee's playing with Ozzy was technically impressive, sure.. But that's not the reason I hold Jake in such high regards. That reason is Badlands, people can say what they will about them, but to me they're the fuckin' Zeppelin of the 90's.

Thanks for pointing out the glaringly obvious that it is my opinion. I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me though. A lot of people would disagree when I say Poison, Winger, and Stryper were gay, too... :ROTF:

Badlands was awesome. Ray Gillen is one of my all-time favorite singers. RIP

It started OK, but the lyrics/singing...eesh. Sounds more Black Label..with worse singing. But Oz still rules.

                          +1

loved Badlands, from start to finish. that's the real Jake. not the hired gun he was in Ozzy's band.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
