Ratt is coming to Albuquerque June 9. Anybody know which version this is? If jrnic is correct, I am so there. If not, well...I may still go.

I heard that Steven Pearcy is back together with the "real" RATT. Is that true???? I heard it on the radio the other day. Would love to see that show!

According to the official RATT MySpace page, the group’s current lineup is as follows:

Stephen Pearcy - Vocals
John Corabi - Guitar
Warren DeMartini - Guitar
Bobby Blotzer - Drums
Robbie Crane - Bass

RATT and POISON will join forces for a summer trek starting June 13 at the Bi Lo Center in Greenville, S.C., and wrapping Aug. 19 at the Coors Amphitheatre in Denver.

The tour, which brings RATT and POISON onstage together for the first time since 1999, will visit amphitheaters, festivals and fairs in such cities as Boston, Detroit, New York, New Jersey and Los Angeles, said Troy Blakely, who books POISON with the Agency for the Performing Arts.

"Generally we’re going to play 50-60 dates," Blakely told Billboard.com. "I’d say 30-35 are sheds. The rest are various festivals, fairs and indoor shows."

Confirmed festivals thus far include Birmingham, Ala.’s City Stages (June 16), Bay City, Mich.’s Bay City River Roar (June 22), Pryor, Okla.’s Rocklahoma (July 13) and Sturgis, S.D.’s Buffalo Chip (Aug. 5).

I like Ratt but really less than before, dunno, for me it's far behind Dokken, Whitesnake, Icon, Scorpions and Judas priest but yes it's good

I picked up Ratt & Roll a couple of months ago, and regularly jam to "You Think You're Tough" on my RR1T (closest thing I have to a double Rhoads - it's just a single Rhoads! ).

They were definitely a great band, but the one thing that keeps them from being on my all-time faves list is that they were pretty weak lyrically.

Musically, though, one of the best of the genre.

Yep.....that acoustic gives you some tempo...knowing that all hell is
about to break loose! it must be kranked! Todays so called super
bands, will be faded away in 10 years imo. IMO if the music is still
great 25 years later, then its GREAT! Too bad Steven Pearcy is like
DLR now and cant sing. A Local DJ makes fun of 80's metal all the time,
(hes 35 yrs old) I cant wait for hime to be 47 and find out that everything he loved is long gone, and Journey and many others are
STILL on the Radio! Great songs endure the test of time!

i have that ratt 3 song live thing from that tv show in the 80's but not enough space to host it.

Former RATT bassist Juan Croucier has issued the following statement:

"It is with deep regret that I must inform you that there will not be a full reunion of the surviving RATT members.

"Considering the original band broke up fifteen years ago and there have been several questionable incarnations of it since then, my hope was maybe this time we could give the RATT fans what they have wanted all along; the original band. I made an exceptional and painstaking effort to work things out with the others, only to reach an impasse.

"There has not been a sincere attempt at redemption by my former band mates, for their insidious and sometimes malicious wrongdoings in the past, toward me. Even when they withdrew critical conditions to help facilitate a long-term reunion, I continued to hope, trying to stay focused on a positive outcome for everyone, especially the fans. I told them, in no uncertain terms, that if we could reach a point of reasonable compromise, in good faith, I would return to the band. To my dismay, near the end of negotiations, ulterior motives prevailed and I was eventually simply stonewalled. Therefore, since nothing has changed, I am left no other choice but to abstain from a reunion. I also made it clear that I was not doing this for the money. My attempt was motivated by my desire to instill credibility back into the name RATT, settle unfinished business and to give the RATT fans what I believe they would truly enjoy seeing and hearing the most. However, their ignorant and unscrupulous habits came into focus once again; a stark reminder of our tumultuous and dysfunctional past.

"Unfortunately, the biggest losers in this equation are the RATT fans, and for that I am truly very sorry. It was my sincere hope throughout several months of negotiations that many of the people that never got to see the original band could at least finally see the surviving members, delivering the bombastic assault of what has come to be known as Ratt N Roll.

"The band that will be opening for POISON this summer will be basically the same partially reformed band with Stephen [Pearcy] coming back to do vocals. I will be recording a follow-up to my LIQUID SUNDAY solo record and playing shows with my band."
