Testament is one of my all time favorite bands. Peterson is always a solid rhythm player.

I wonder if he uses that delay for rhythm live?
He uses a Boss DD5 in his amp's effects loop for a short slap-back

I'm not dissing them or their fans, I've tried to like them several times but just cannot.
Skolnick has stated quitting the band for becoming "too melodic" for the other guys.. With a statement like that I'd think you don't really like thrash in general, and not just Testament? Please correct me if I'm wrong

Testament rocks, I do remember reading or him mentioning it was a Mesa Triple Rectifier with that delay to thicken things up. I think it was actually in a guitar world mag in the Vulgar Display of Power section.

            You're not wrong. I've seen skorb's setlist

Definately one of my favorite metal bands of all time. Peterson was a monster player and a great writer. Chuck Billy is one of my favorite singers and I felt could really sing while putting a good bit of stank behind it.

                    Insert annoying equipment list here....

yeah ha ha I'm such a pussy.

I'm a metal guy in a pop rock cover band but that was the fastest way for me to get playing and gigging. I'm sure you remember the Metallica we played when we jammed that one time. and the Iron Maiden.

actually the cover song thing has stretched me out and made me a better player.

anyhow, I should know when to keep my mouth shut. Testament's great.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
