I found this link on another Forum.
    Some very accomplished wah-work here.
This is the guy that GnR should have...

And the best part would be that Axle could just stand there...or NOT even
    be on stage! Perfect! :ROTF:
I love when a guitarist does the vocal parts. John 5 is the Shit!

Yeah, John Lowery is a monster guitar player. Just listen to the DLR Band album....

A fantastic player, not that you'd ever know that listening to Manson's records. I had no idea how good that guy was before just a couple of years ago. Hats off!

That was the first thing I thought!

I'll e-mail Slash and see what he thinks.

holy mackerel, this is awesome! best thing I've ever heard from this guy by a mile.

not only does he make Slash sound like an stumble-fingered amateur by comparison, with the rhythms and leads, etc, but playing the vocal parts on guitar perfectly, WOW.

                      thanks for posting this bro!

I like how he's played the vocal bits... but imo the leads just aren't raw enough, and that's what GNR was back then and why people loved it.

Slash said he's too busy cashing signature royalty checks from Gibson and Dunlop and Wrangler jeans to check it out. After he orders a new 240 karat nose ring he might have some time(?).

There's a lot of really interesting creative guitarists around now...Bravo! John5, Buckethead, that crazy guy that plays the double guitar (Michael Andretti.

                            Buckethead? Yech.

Since we seem to be on the topic of "weird named ex GNR guitarists"... Ron Thal aka Bumblefoot would definitely be my pick over the KFC dude.
