Its probably a custom guitar that he had jackson build for him and they are basing a signature model off of it to be released in the future. Basically its an RR5 with a reverse headstock, custom inlays, custom paint job, and probably different woods used in the body/neck.

It's being made there for one and either they don't have enough made or there is some marketing issues behind it. They did release a bunch of new models last year so my thought is that they wanted to wait to have something new for this upcoming US NAMM.

Newbie question here, but what's US NAMM and when is that?

And if they are waiting for US NAMM, does that mean that it will be released in Sweden/Europe when it's released at US NAMM ?

His "sig" model I've heard rumors about since april! And still no sign of a sig model. At least not on jackson's website. And if some magazine wrote about his sig model, it's still nowhere to be bought.

From what I've seen almost all companies release new models every year at NAMM which is in January every year. So it will probably officially be introduced next month at NAMM, and then give it a couple months for stores to get em.

That's weird, because when I saw them, Matt had two IDENTICAL RR's, one was the silver sparkle and the other was white with black binding.

He did use a black RR5 at the end though, but it was completely stock and had totally different specs to his customs. Unless he was only testing the white one and is scrapping it in exchange for a white one instead.

Yea I know! He has alot of guitars xD
He got a silver and a black(which are most likely to be his sig models). Then he also got a white rhoads that I think is tuned to D(NOT drop c), so he doesn't have to tune the guitar during shows, he just switches.

Why he has a silver, and a black, I have no idea why. Are there any difference? Spec-wise I mean?
