  • Chris Holmes of Wasp - tribute...

I'm tabbing the "Inside The Electric Circus" album cause there is no official song book available. Learned this solo last night - check it out from YouTube!

My band: http://www.diceoffate.comJust one of many great solos by the legendary Chris Holmes. His style is so unique and the sound is out of this world. This...

And for those who don't know here is my tribute site:

I will add the Power Tabs on the site when finished. I'm not going to do all the solos though. But rhythm guitars will be there and the main lead parts. Also coming soon is some more info on Chrises gear.

Very cool! I think that guitar just made me dizzy, though.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Thanks guys! I've now done all the rhythm tabs and 3 solos from the album. I will soon make the Powertabs available for download.

There is an official tab book available for HC that is pretty accurate. I've seen it on Ebay every now and then. I might make powertabs of some solos anyway though for the website to showcase Chrises style.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Wasp and it's funny how Chrises best stuff is often on the B-sides. Like Lake Of Fools for example. That's like a Holmes instrumental. On the "hit songs" the solos are more composed and not as flowing - still great though. I also love the live stuff - especially some solos from Double Live Assasins. They are so intense.
