I think the Dean headstock makes that one look better than the Gibby. That being said I wouldn't buy a $500 Epiphone version of that thing.

It's like Gibson copied that nasty Paul Stanley Silvertone V/SG monstrosity but with their traditional takes on the shapes. I LMAO when I saw that on Kimmel the other night.

Maybe he wanted the SG horns up top to have room for more of the bullseye design, but if you gave me on e of those I'd sell it before I'd play it.
