  • EVH Looking Good

GuitarWorld.com reports that Eddie Van Halen has emerged from rehab with a new outlook on life — not to mention a brand-new amp: the EVH 5150 III.

In his first post-rehab interview, presented in the September 2007 issue of Guitar World, Van Halen discusses the new three-channel amp from his EVH brand of guitars, amps and musical products, and thanks his fans for their support during his time in rehab. "Their support has and always will mean the world to me," he says. "I want everyone to know that I am truly grateful."

Read the entire story in the September 2007 issue of Guitar World, on sale June 26.

That's great! He looks completely different from only a few months ago.

I truly hope he can stay healthy and hopefully start making music again.

          The God Hath Returned.
Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

I think Eddie got a facelift. In fact, I'd bet money on it. If Vince Neil and Gene Simmons can do it, why not Eddie ? So they used the rehab story to cover up him going to get a facelift. I wonder if he really did rehab at the same time?

A short video interview should answer the question about rehabing.
I just saw the video interview about his reliced guitar and that was painful
to watch. Hope he's back, I was looking forward to seeing the tour with DLR.

Yeah, I saw that one. Even worse is the one on youtube.com at NAMM where EVH is introducing those overpriced Fender Franky replicas. Now THAT is painful to watch !!!!

Anyone else notice that everytime he comes out of rehab, he cuts his hair? I'm just glad to see him looking heathly. I hope he's on the right path and we hear something from him soon. It's been far too long.

Now that's the kind of Eddie we want to see in 2007. Hope he keeps it together and gets his life back on track. New Halen music with Michael Anthony would be a start. Looking forward to checking out his new amp one day.

*** well after spending $10K this last 7 months (in Mexico) getting
all new crowns, and bridges and root canals and such i can attest that
having new teeth certainly changes your life! EVH is lookin great compared to 18 months ago(teeth) In case your wondering...
Mexico offers the same great quality except i was quoted $38K here in
the states for what i had done. More $'s for gear that way!

when you see them? IMO he was on Meth big time. Just shows what
$200K can do for your appearence if you try!

Nah, the pics are taken to far away from his face, which work to his favor, can't see a single wrinkle or crows feet that far away.
As would be obvious, dental work, a tan, hair cut and color.
He's tidied and cleaned up nicely.

In regards to any future new killer music and tour,
I'm not anticipating, anxious or positive just yet.
The VH bros in recent years have proven an impeccable stellar reputation of messing it up. Wait and see on the music and tour side of things.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

"Anyone who tries to fling crap my way better have a really good crap flinger."

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.
