              I was thinking the same thing. One would assume he brought his amp along too. If he didn't, and played thru 'just any old amp', then that would give creedance to the saying 'tone comes from your fingers'!

              Nice to see this, as it's the Eddie I like to remember. Amazing how effortlessly he's playing Panama, he makes it look easy.

                About the only thing I saw majorly similar was the style. Definitely Eddie-like, haha...

                I'm sure he brought his own rig but the tone he was getting was not unlike any other vanhalen covering band I've heard.

                About the only VanHalen stuff I was ever amazed at tone-wise anyways was the first release, and that was awesome. He really hasn't been able to quite capture that again. The 2nd and 3rd were good. But not the amazing tone of the 1st.
