  • WTF Bill, that's all you could come up with??? :ROTF:

Speaking of Frank Marino.. Somewhere on his site he was talking about jamming with Uli Jon Roth sometime and how much he liked it, and would love to do it again if Uli felt like it.. Can you IMAGINE what it would be like to see Marino AND Roth sharing a stage together? DAYUM!
I can't even begin to imagine how great that would be!!!

Yes, Larry is great! He was also a student of Joe Satriani at one time.

LOL He forgot Jim Matheos from Fates Warning. Frank Aresti was no slouch either, when he was in the band (and he did play Jacksons).

                    lol,

I liked a lot of the Skid Row guys stuff.

and not many people know that Sammy plays guitar, he's actually pretty F'n good

how 'bout Rowan Robertson or Vivian Campbell?

                    • I'm just bustin' on ya, thought it was an eclectic group you have there.

Loved Skid Row, great rhythm players, so is Sammy for that matter.

Rowan and Viv are (were) awesome. Viv was always underappreciated IMO.

Always thought was alot like Jake in the sense that you really felt a tremendous amount of energy in their playing.

                      • Viv has always been under rated.
                        The guy kills.
He can play damn near anything.
Phil Collen has some killer chops too.
He's been on some B side shit that is flat out kick ass.

                        • Brian May, genius with gobs of feel and tone. Beautiful vibrato.
Brian Setzer - Has anyone else seen him live? Unbelievably good.

                          • Craig Goldie (often passed over in favor of Vivian, but formed a better songwriting team with Dio, IMHO)

I saw a concert, on MTV or VH1, once, of Brian Setzer (I think it was actually the Stray Cats, too) at Brixton. Friggin amazing. Also a great player in that vein, is the guitarist from The Living End (forget his name at the moment).
                              I'm not Ron!
