I was about to ask the same question. Jake would have moved on to Badlands after 2 Ozzy albums no matter which one came out first. Ozzy has always said that he tells all his musician's that if they get tired of doing the Ozzy thing and want to be part of their own band, they can go with his blessing. Don't know how true this is, but...

IMO ultimate sin had way stronger songs than Bark did. Bark at the moon had bark at the moon, and then went downhill from there. IMO not a very strong record.

I always liked Jake the best.

I was always torn between Jake and Randy. Some days I thought Randy was better, then some days I thought Jake was better. I still go through that.
