Jeff Loomis..short lived GW section but too busy..never on cover. He's been the metal KING of shred..IMO

*Uli Roth..his playing/influence speak for themselves.. fuggums.

      Magnus Karlsson..who?

      Jorn Viggo Lofstad...who?

      Olaf Lenk..who?

      Mike Romeo...some know him

      The Amott bros..what a team!!!

*Frank Marino..shredding like nobody's biz in the 70's. He intense fire, feel, speed, emotion..that went unoticed by most..and is a "Wayne's World" joke.

My main picks would be Uli Roth and Frank Marino..what do have to do to get a major prop by a publication. They influenced so many and been shredding their fingers to the bone since 1971..fuggums

Hell yeah, It was 1978 I was baptized by Mahogony Rush Live, VH I, and already loving Sabbath..

ummm..the very reason why I play. I still "air guitar" to that album. Even tho I play metal, I took alot from that guy!!!

              • That's funny, I was searching Greg Howe vids earlier today and came across that. Kinda weird, but hey, it pays the bills! Just like him touring with Michael Jackson too.

He can't be that "underrrated". Mnay in the underground and mainstream played with him.

That's the way it should be..I THINK!!

                        Glenn Tipton...

It's a Phantom A5. I acquired one, loved the tone (triple humbucker bridge, single coil neck),
but never saw another until I watched VH1 Classic and saw him playing one on several vids and concerts.

                        Kewl....
