Ibanez used to have an Edge trem with piezos in it, which would do a lot of what that doubleneck does, and maybe more. The had a 7-string with piezos, too. Dunno why they discontinued it.

This guitar's made to look impressive.It's obviously made for stage performance, to have an impact on the audience.

I actually like it to be honest... though I agree with a lot of you who said he should've gone 12-string! Still, that finish on a standard Ibanez would be pretty cool (might be enough to make me finally want to buy one)!

Ibanez still makes the RG1820X with the double edge trem with piezos.

Our other guitarist has a Kramer like this. It's kind like doing both jobs, only half-assed. I'm not fond of either side's sound and playability.
