  • "The Scream"

Anyone else remember these guys? Bruce & John from Racer X, John Corabi and Walt Woodward... Great stuff. Anyway I've got a link for you if you want their second cd that was never released. I dl'd it - it's good, but VERY different from their first release. Check it out for yourself.

Go under "cool stuff", click the link about The Scream and DC-10, and listen away!!!

I just bought the first release a few months back and it's a great bluesy/hard rock cd.

I had only heard Father Mother Son from back in the day.
It's a shame Corabi left when he did.

He isn't on the second one is he?
I read they made it without him.
Currently at 78 guitars - Paul Reed Smith, Jackson, Robin, Washburn, Carvin, Peavey, U.S. Masters, G&L, Hamer, Godin, BC Rich, Yamaha, Fender, ESP, Kramer, Cort, Ibanez, Aria Pro & Charvel

It's a different singer and sounds like a completely different band. Very different, and no shredding guitars.
Breaking Point, my all instrumental CD available here:

Yep, pretty bluesy by comparison. I was a little disappointed too, but I was listening as I really thing Bruce's chops are pretty wicked, and they still are, but just in no way similar to the "Let It Scream" cd. The DC-10 stuff picks up from their and gets even bluesier.

Still good stuff though - I bet it would have been great LIVE with some volume attached.

The first record rocks, the second one is lame IMO.

I saw them in L.A. back in '91 when they were called "Black Cloud".
