Since when does Metallica write weak 3-chord songs?!?

        Since 2003?

        Some might say since 1991?

Its really sad to see them like this... I think its pretty obvious that James doesent have one memorable riff left in his arsenal... hes tapped out, plain and simple.

I dont think the music is all that bad, but his lyrics and vocals just keep getting worse and worse. And god damn, what happenned to Kirk? His solos are SO fucking booring and blah, same shit time and time again.
you can only do so much in E minor.......

I'll bet the lyrics you hear are just temporary to throw something in there. Alot of Metallica demos are like that.

This is such a far cry from Kill em All it is not even funny. They need to take a break and re-evaluate because this stuff really fucken sucks. Talk about going from innovative to cookie cutter.

                    Wow....

terrible. they were SO done several albums ago.

                        stick a fork in em.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

yikes...it sounds like a bad Misfits rip off. To me Master of Puppets was the end of Metallica. I just couldn't get into Justice...I tried...I went to see them on that tour and I was board during the show. Now, the funny part is that the newer stuff is so bad that I actually kind of like Justice now. It actually sounds a bit like the old Metallica. Too bad to see such a great band fall apart like that...maybe the actual album will be better.

                              I can see it now...............

James goes into Burger King to make an order:

Cashier: Welcome to Burger King. Can I take your order?

                              James: IIIIIIIIIII woah woah yo....would li i i i ike a number 3 woah!

                              Cashier: Will that be all?

                              James: Yea Yyyyyyyeah.

Cashier: For here to to go?

                              James: To go woah woah.

I hope they come up with more lyrics. The song was punk as all get out. I liked the music. I could hear a little Whiplash in kirks solo........just a little. St. Anus was what I would the Rehab album. I think James is going to run his drug/alcohol/anger problems into the dirt on every album. I think Gwen Stefani did the same thing w/No Doubt and Alanis Morriset too. They put out a whole album dedicated to loosing their boyfriends.

I think Kirk needs to go back to working out his parts on the solos and not try to improvise as much.
