Old Murphy! Hell yeah. Back when I was a wee lad, listining to sepultura, and slayer, demolition hammer, etc. I remember that disincarnate album. What was that fist song on the album "the stench of paradise buring" F@cken loved those riffs. And the leads Great stuff

Ya know..I want metal that kicks you in the dick and makes you throw the horns.

Testament and James Murphy always delivers that shit!!

That's the only language I speak, and the only kind of music I care to write and play!!!

I'm tempted to make a 4 hour drive next month to see Testament, and how Skolnick covers James' solos when they play the Low/Gathering material live. That is, if they even have anything post Ritual on their setlist. I know they didn't on Live in London.
Fuck Yeahhhh..you know, that Testament line-up is prolly THE baddest fuggin' metal bands of all time..they kick the dick off Metallica on their best day..I always thought so!!!!!

Fuck Yeah...Live at the Filmore fucking owns..he nails the classic stuff and then some..listening to it now!!

I prefer James Murphy's agressive tone, and style over Alex..to be honest.

I think he kicked Testament into overdrive..he kicked Chuck Billy in the ass..I love it!

Yeah I know man..I always thought he'd make a perfect secondary NM guitarist!

The gathering inspired some of my own shit..I have a new song made up of very old riffs and it sounds alot like "Three days of Darkness"..big time..that's all I was listening to when I came up with that stuff.and Coroner..so it's a blend of both. If you heard it, it's so fuggin' blatant!

Most of James Murphy work was mentioned..I may have something else..I'll go thru my library..that could take awhile.

I know he has several guest spots on stuff, such as Daath, The Counsel, Edens Fall, ummm..I must check.

I see people here really KNOW his work..that really makes me feel good..you guys mentioned stuff that most people don't know or give a shit about.

Anything James touches turns to gold!
He said something about making an instructional DVD at some point (available thru his website).
