Nice move! I wish I could have filmed the reaction, it was hilarious. They turned a sell-out eager crowd into a sell-out drunken, baying hostile mob with that one sentence. By the end of the first number, our experience was nothing compared to the stage invasions and furniture being hooned at them.
We were loaded, and ready to make a hasty exit by then, and as we were slithering out, one of the spikey-haired loons whose face I had stood on came up and apologised, said he thought we were excellent, and if he could get the main act off-stage, would we go back on.
Erm, yes mate, sure, whatever.
I have no idea what happened after that, we were outta there!

Bumping, cuz I find it easier to check this thread for cool Youtube shit. So, just randomly looking through youtube tonight, found Marty Friedman doing a take on Little Wing. Didn't see it posted before (search included). Think it's from his instructional video. Not extremely long, but he manages to keep the feel while putting his own spin on it. Plus some added shit at the end.
