That was a pretty cool video, though even constant Jazz shredding gets on my nerves. Sustain a note for a second guy! 
There are some cool instructional videos by him on youtube too. It is interesting to hear how he approaches soloing over changes focusing on the notes of the chords. Like most hacks, I play patterns and hope I hit the right notes, so this advice is very helpful to me. Gets me thinking out of the box.
