      Heh...in 1983/84 I saw Zebra at the Paramount Theatre in Portland, OR.

      Some way over the top band in striped spandex and shrieking vocals opened for them. They were from Seattle - called themselves Queensryche...we wrote them off because no way was that band gonna be around long

        No, it was the NY tech gym. I guess they were playing venues like that at the time. It was around 82 or 83.

          I liked Triumph the best out of this bunch of 3 piece bands!
          Zebra and Fastway are awesome as well.

            I played the hell out of the Fastway debut album. (Still have the LP). Their followup wasn't nearly as good IMO. I need to get the CD. Just a really good rock record.
