OMG- World Slavery Tour 2008 announced

Was just listening to Eddie Trunk on XM radio- Said he was with Nicko McBrain in Boston last week & Nicko said that Maiden is going to do a series of shows in the US only playing the oldschool stuff from the original World Slavery Tour 84/85.

I'm torn- I love some of the new stuff, but basically re-doing Live After Death's setlist will be sssssssssssssssssswwwwweeetttttt!!!!!

That's gonna kick ass, surely a show to see. I saw them around then with I think Twisted Sister at the Capital Center in Largo MD. Maiden was fuckin awesome.

I caught that original tour back in the day and it fucking changed my life. Best live arena show I've seen to this date.

I think they are going doing the next 4 albums tour. Thats what I've heard for ages anyway. Live after Death is included so they can still play the big hits from the first four.
Maiden are never disappointing live. I'll definitely catch them at least once on that tour.

I'm sure it will be global- The radio show is US based & he was talking to Nicko in Boston. It sounded like they have tentative dates for the States already.

This will be a great show! Saw the original tour in 84 with TS. Did Dee Snider get into a 'fight' at every show? He did at the Chicago show but I heard that is was an act on that tour.
