I know theyll hit montreal, they have a special love affair with the fans and the city. Ill be there for sure. The new eddie picture for the tour busting out of the ground is the coolest in years, one of the coolest ever actually. Id go just so I could get that on a shirt.

I was there for the 84 show, with twisted sister, at the ottawa civic center.

Get rid of Jannick. (wont happen tho) He's written some decent stuff for them , and he can play, but I just don't think he fits in. Especially for this tour, it just screams "powerslave lineup only"

Twisted Sister opened for Maiden at Long Beach during the Powerslave tour. WASP opened for them at Irvine Meadows on the same tour, July 5 if my memory serves me. Dave Murray played the Star Spangled Banner during his guitar solo, apparently in recognition of Independence Day.

They've played the Forum at least once, during the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son tour.

TS was supposed to open in Denver for that tour, but Dee snider broke his leg a week or so before the show, so Maiden played 3 hours. It was incredible.

Rupe, I saw that show in Denver in 2003, right after Dance of Death came out, and they only played old school songs. Also saw them in 2000 at Fiddlers, Monster magent opened up, that was killer.

I'd love to see Maiden again. I only saw them once, on the No Prayer For The Dying tour. Anthrax opened for them.

I saw Maiden in 1988 (heading Monsters of Rock Germany), 1993 (Fear of The Dark), 1996 (The X-Factor) and 2003 (Dance of Death). The worst was the Blaze Bailey period. The best was 1988 and 1993. Last time I saw them Bruce Dickinson was somewhat distant compared to other times.
I agree that Janick Gers should been gone since Adrian Smith is back.

I would love to see Maiden again, but I also agree they should dump the 3rd the guitarist, doesn`t fit.

I haven´t really paid attention to Maiden since Brave New World and that tour, but if they´re gonna focus on the stuff after NOTB this time I´ll consider going. That´s when they turned good, imho... from Piece of Mind up to and including Seventh Son. Maiden England, from the Seventh Son tour, is still one of my fave concert videos.

I hope there will be some dates in Sweden.
