      I didn't know they were from NJ. I got that album also when it came out. It still kicks ass.

          another local guy i dug was Tony Rey the original guitarist in
          Danger Danger {before Andy Timmons joined } Tony left DD to play in the band Saraya

            Any love here for DiPietro...T.T.Quick?

            Great player! He was definitely a Marshall and Les Paul guy.

            I don't know if he used EMGs, but if so, I believe hearing that Zakk admired Dave's playing. Maybe that's where Zakk picked up the idea of EMGs in the Paul?

              i remember Zakk mentioning Dave and Ken Dubman as big local influences in a very early interview when he first joined OZZY..that how i got turned on to TT and Prophet

                Dave gave lessons to Zakk and Dave Sabo from Skid Row. The is a good chance Zakk got that idea from Dave.

                  in my research just found out Dave Dipietro also did an album with
                  Nuclear Assault called "Something Wicked" in 93...

                    Something Wicked This Way Comes..their last..that title song was a soundtrack to a early 90's horror movie..I forgot which one.

                      No emg's for Dave. I was a huge fan of TT Quick and saw them evolve into a great band. They were the only band at the time doing accept and motorhead . Kicked ass. He was a marshall guy but used a cherry sunburst les paul with I think dimarzios. I remember they looked like dimarzios but I never asked him. He had a really good playing style.
