Great player! He was definitely a Marshall and Les Paul guy.
I don't know if he used EMGs, but if so, I believe hearing that Zakk admired Dave's playing. Maybe that's where Zakk picked up the idea of EMGs in the Paul?Comment

No emg's for Dave. I was a huge fan of TT Quick and saw them evolve into a great band. They were the only band at the time doing accept and motorhead . Kicked ass. He was a marshall guy but used a cherry sunburst les paul with I think dimarzios. I remember they looked like dimarzios but I never asked him. He had a really good playing style.Comment
