Thanks for the story Rupe. Really cool for your son to me a "star" like that and have a conversation about his favorite passion playing the guitar! And with his Fav no less. What a surprise, huh, showing up with Night Ranger!
Tone is like Art: Your opinion is valid. Listen, learn, have fun, draw your own conclusions.
no dis on Reb but the other side of this coin is, what's Jeff Watson doing not playing with NR and how did that go down?
he's always been one of my favorite players, so much feel with speed and great rhythms. plus the 12 string. plus the 8 finger thing. he does it all.
and what is with Brad's trem, is that an older Floyd? that guitar's a trip.
Jeff said that at one point the band was divided into two camps, with him and Brad versus Jack and Kelly. Jeff took a trip with his wife to visit her dad who was deathly ill, and when they got back Brad had merged with Jack and Kelly and Jeff was out of the picture. So yeah, glad to see Reb get the gig but it sounds like Jeff got fucked.
Of course I haven't heard the rest of the guys' side of the story; who knows what they have to say?
Hey! That aint right...he needs the $2500.00 Reb Beach Koa Ibanez!
Good luck finding a clean one! Great story.. thats cool that Kyle
appreciates where it all started... 1988 !
One more thing..(and i love Reb.) I can see not having the full teased
metal hair...but could we just add a touch of conditioner ?? Man,
thats flat to the max!
Cool story!!! I've met Reb on a number of occasions and he is a cool, funny, down to earth guy. He always takes time out to chat to fans. Oh, and he's a smokin' player!!!
