Yes, Manowar do rock, but I like the ballads and the cheesy stuff too. Having said that, most of their stuff is cheesy, but I mean the really cheesy stuff like "all men play on 10"

Men Without Hats - Safety Dance - I kinda like some electronic music, especially ones with really catchy synth lines.

Prince - Lets Go Crazy, 1999, When Doves Cry - A lot of people would think Im weird for liking Prince, but the guy is a killer guitarist.

U2 - Vertigo - Yeah yeah its U2, but this song's riff is just awesome.

Well, I'm very open to everyone of my love for 80's/early90's heavy metal/hair bands. So Vixen, White Lion,.,,,,,,those are still bands I listen to a lot. I guess for me, people laugh or question me when they see the Britney Spears Greatest Hits cd in my Blazer. But I love her tunes! I've been heavily into bodybuilding for several years, and sometimes I crank Britney Spears when I'm lifting at home (I have a massive home gym in my basement)....and I guess I've been embarrassed a bit when my wife's friends stop by and hear that blaring. Doesn't seem to mix with lifting,,,but it actually is great music for that. Motley, Def Leppard, and Bon Jovi seem to be the bands that inspire me for the best workouts. Bands like Van Halen, White Lion, etc.....don't work for this cuz they just get my mind too much on wanting to play guitar. Oh, and how could anyone be embarrassed about Winger? Reb is a monster on guitar, and that whole band was musically way out of the leagues of most of their peers. It was just the band name that got them negative attention.

I used to listen to "Battle Hymn's". . .once upon a time.

Battle Hymns has got to be Manowar's best song, and is the only song by them I am not atleast Slightly embarassed to listen to.

I have never found Poison embarrasing to listen to, they are a kick-ass, good-time rock and roll band.
