        Cool axe, is that a multi-laminate neck? Looks like 3 different pieces of wood by the grain, in the center section.

          It's a three-piece neck yes. Like they did in the early days of Jackson. It's more stable for figured maple than one piece. I think they still suggest mahogany necks to be done with 3-piece also but it's an upcharge.
