sorry, they waited too long to do this. it's 10 years too late IMO.

I'm not really interested, and they were my favorite band growing up.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

I'm kinda glad they are doing this. They are such an important band that its only fair to let another generation catch them live.

They said around 20 million people have already registered for the ticket lottery (don't know if you can enter multiple times).

I registered. What the hell, never been to London. 20,000,000 requests for 20,000 seats :-)

They're only taking orders until Monday night. I thought about putting my name down (I was lucky enough to be randomly selected for the Live 8 concert lottery... didn't go though, gave them away to a friend), but I've never been a big Zep fan to be honest so I didn't bother!

God kicked back with a beer,
And gave that Jackson one helluva beating!

Well Robert Plant is completely incapable of singing the material, as of about 15 years ago. Like not even close, its just pitiful. He cant hit a single friggin note of it.

But I'd be there in a flash if I could. Too cool. Hottest ticket ever maybe, I'll bet tickets will change hands for $3000+ and up no problem. Theres no shortage of willing cash out there for such an event, for prime seats.

Small venue for it. Would have expected a 50-60000 seat stadium.

I cant see a 'tour'. I would guess at a few shows in the biggest cities around the globe, maybe for about 10 shows total, if anything.

Actually i saw Plant live some years ago, and his singing was great , really good voice i know he dont have the range he used to have but he is still very good. I am positive that it will be a kickass show.

If I get lucky, I'm kind of torn about going to see them and selling the ticket to fund some new guitars or pay off some of the credit card.

Apparently tickets will be printed with names on them. So it won't be possible to sell them after.

I was after the same deal but...

So were probably 90% of 20 millions who registered for a ticket. There was a Page/Plan tour before and it wasn't that sucessful...

I'd go see this one before the VH reunion, but I'd really like to see both. I'll probably see neither.

If Jimmy played anywhere near as soulfully as he used to, it would be worth it.
