I doubt there are going to be thousands of hot scantily clad chicks at these shows. They are expensive as hell so most people will be older. I for one am a broke student - not going to pay that kind of money to see a concert.

I bet people will be dissapointed no matter how much they pay, not by EVH and the band but by DLR looking, singing and stumbling around like a hungover mummy. Of course maybe I'm just jealous, Ha Ha I'll just buy a 6 pack $5 strap on my PS4 $200 and play along with my VH1 cassette $2.

There was an article in the St. Paul paper the oyther day about ticket scalpers. Quote from the article:
Do the scalpers ever get burned?
Oh, yes. Many took a bath on this summer's Police reunion tour, thanks to already-pricey tickets and a less-than-expected demand. Obert said sales are also soft for the Oct. 24 Van Halen reunion at the Target Center: "For us, it almost feels like a nonevent."

I wonder how many shows will be sold out, but they'll be playing to half empty arenas?

Very innovative..use his talents without actually paying him. 3/4 of the proceeds will go the the VH estate. The Van Halen's hired Dave to sing the classics we all love..it's genius!

I just got 2 tickets for $76.50 a piece for the Nassau Coliseum Show!!! Went online right at the 10am start and got seats in the lower part of 3rd level. Right in the middle of the arena so it should be a nice view of the stage. I'm so psyched!!! Sucks about all the extra fees, but it came to about $35 extra, not too bad! (not great either...but) I had decided that I didn't want to spend that much so $188 total I can justify to myself (and my wife...well not too hard since she spent more for Billy Joel tickets last year!)
I can't wait!!!!Last edited by jrnic; 09-24-2007, 10:45 AM.Guitars:

I don't know, but, I know I tried for the hell of it to get tickets for the Garden show too. At about 10:20 I tried and couldn't get 2 tickets anywhere, seems only single seats were available by then. Sorry you couldn't get through.Guitars:

I've personally tried buying tickets for shows here as soon as they go on sale and never got the good seats.
