To be honest I was expecting the worst with the new VH tour. But I have to admit, after watching these clips, I'm totally bummed I didn't get tix. Damn that sounded really good and Roth was much better then I expected. I wonder if his voice will last throughout the tour though.

This thread said new VH clips .. I still dont see van halen. Sorry but Wolfy can play a bass like a million other people can but he aint Mike. I saw the pics o ED and he doesnt look as good as he did when he 1st came out of rehab. I hope he doesnt relapse. I didnt see anything to justify the huge prices for this tour. If it was with Mike yea id spring for it if it was nearby.

Does anyone really think Wolfie sounded good on vocals? He was mildly passable in my opinion and seeing as he's in the midst of puberty who knows what his voice will sound like next week.

He's no Mike or Richie Sambora or Eric Carr or.....

I wonder if he's had any voice training so he doesn't shoot his voice out at the first show.

I think he sounded rather off in parts. Then again, so did Dave. Musically, it sounded good, but I can get that just from sitting in my living room, and listening to the albums AND I'd save myself a ton.

this a 7.3 Good...but "I was Floored"? Speechless? I was glad

Well, in 2004, Ed couldn't. I don't even know what he was playing,,every solo was one long sustainiac note,,,and not one ounce of Ed all night. If he plays like that on this tour,,,,,I'm not risking it. Between what I saw on the Balance tour and what I saw in 2004,,,it wasn't even the same guy up there in 2004.

He was actually "ON' in that vid..even if it's the same ol' stuff..none of us could play that..not like that.
