So they will be built by Fender? Wonder if they will be MIM like the new amp?

Wow, I love Peavey Wolfs and I'm hoping these will play/feel the same (other than the headstock, it looks identical to the PV in the photos). Although I do have to admit, it didn't give them much consideration until I actually played one in '04, and then bought two -lol. I didn't think they looked "rawk" enough, like J/Cs and Ibanez. Stupid me.

+1 I have a amber flame Standard that I ordered in 1997 and finally received in 1998. I played it once and it's been in the closet ever since. The neck is too skinny and the body, is well. I just don't like the shape, especially while seated. This post made me remember that I have that guitar. I need to sell it

How was the trem on the Peavy and MM versions, I never heard much about it.

Hmmm once again nothing new or different from ED. I can only imagine what that thing will cost. Im guessing around $2000 for a MIM version and $6000 for a USA version. Just my guess..

Well if it's being made by the EVH brand group.. Thats Charvel if im not mistaken. So it will probably be priced like a JAckson/Charvel. And fender deosnt own the distribution rights to thre Floyd Rose anymore. Floyd Rose himself does. So it could be either an OFR or licensed one. The trems on the EBMM and the Peavey are great. They feel and sound like the real thing. To my ears anyway. I have a purple wolfie spc. and it sounds and plays awsome. The neck is great the tone is EVH too bad my playing isnt. I thought i would never own a peavy guitar. But i bought a wolfgang a few yers ago after playing it and i was impresssed. It stayed in tune perfectly and the trem felt just like an OFR. I had to sell it to get my LPC out of pawn. I missed it so much i bought another one. And im not sorry i did. AT ALL.
I love my wolfgang. and i got a bonus with it. Its Purple.. lol

It is easy to hit those notes when your balls havent dropped yet. I was impressed with the clips I saw as well. Best of luck to young Wolfie. I hope he keeps his dad straight on tour.

EVH's Kramer 5150 is the true VH guitar in my mind. Nothing else will replace it.

I had a Peavey Wolfgang Special too, and I really liked it. The neck was chunky, but really confortable. It sounded great. The trem was licensed but worked very well, and even had a brass sustain block. The D-tuner worked great. The guitar sounded really good as well. The only thing weird about it was the pickup selector. When it was down the neck pickup was selected, and when it was up the bridge pickup was selected. Kinda weird...

Wolfgangs are great guitars.

Yep Steve, I never got that myself about the pup selector..

I don't play mine much, so that throws me off whenever I do.
