I love the Seventh Sign and Magnum Opus with Mike Vescera on vocals. I never did get anything else from Yngwie after those, though. I've got all the older stuff, too, but I just kinda lost interest after Mike was gone.

I think the best thing Yngwie has done lately is the song
"Cherokee Warrior".
Killer chorus- this is not your typical Yng-style shallow original tune.
YJM played that tune on the UTF tour, man it was awesome.

I like his blues rock playing, he should do it more.
He should. I saw him in '94 and '95, and he sang on one or two blues songs, too. He's got a pretty decent voice. He also brought out his old white Gibson Flying V with single coil pickups and a Floyd!

IMO he could have been twice as huge if he would have played this
bluesy style back in the day.. That was the best ive EVER heard
from him. If this is his new direction.. i'll be buying some Malmsteen
CD's! That solo was on fire.
I really love older YJM stuff!!! I think he did his best albums with Joe Lynn Turner & Göran Edman on vocals..
Magnum Opus & Seventh Sign are just ok with Vescera. There are few good songs in "Facing The Animal" .
But Alchemy to Unleash The Fury?!?!? Can't stand 'em!!!
