I just bought the Whitesnake live DVD to check out his and Doug Aldrich's playing. Aldrich is pretty much "the" lead guitar player these days and takes the spotlight, and Reb sadly plays from the shadows.

Reb is a great player, but states on the DVD that he does not mind playing mostly rhythm guitar.....as long as he can play with David Coverdale. Works for me, as long as David is came off of a dcent paycheck!
